In summer 2008 Healthcare Art Consulting introduced Sustainability into its core values based on the influence of Jeff Kiec, LEED-AP and owner of Urban Sustainable Solutions, along with team member Megan Lapham.
After receiving a sustainability audit and plan to make improvements to business practices that made "cents," Jerry Joyner, CEO, was convinced that the implementation of sustainable business practice was worth the minimal investment in the present in order to see the improvements in the future.

Big Ass Fans Based on the recommendation of LEED-AP Jeff Kiec, Healthcare Art Consulting partnered with Big Ass Fans to install The Element in the front showroom. After installation of The Element, our Team Members, clients and visitors felt a dramatic difference in air temperature. More like a kinetic sculpture than a Big Ass Fan, The Element has not only helped Healthcare Art Consulting reach its sustainability goals, it has also reduced energy costs, changed the "look and feel" of the front showroom, and allowed local businesses to view the wonders of The Element.
